Library foundation

The Library Foundation seeks to extend the reach of Library services to all individuals in the service area by:

• Bringing the library and its services to those who can’t or don’t get to the building.
• Serving those who are not fluent English speakers/readers.
• Increasing public awareness of the library and its offerings.

The Library Foundation works to ensure in perpetuity a steady stream of high-quality programs not available elsewhere in the area.

Ensure continued attraction and retention of outstanding staff.

• Continuing education/professional development for staff.
• Endowed positions with attached discretionary budget.
• Innovative approaches to cost-of-living issues.

The Library Foundation supports flexible giving opportunities to support the Library’s vision including:

• Experiments in programming and services.
• Expanded offerings to meet new demand.
• Meet large needs.
• Donor-defined opportunities to meet our goal.
