Our Special Collections
Curry Public Library has non-circulating special collections that are available for use by appointment. The collections include original and secondary materials in a variety of formats that document the history and creative writing of Curry County, and the broader region of northern California, Oregon, and the Pacific.

Curry County Reporter
The library holds a complete collection of known copies of Curry County newspapers in print and on microfilm. This collection includes: the Wedderburn Radium, the Curry County Reporter, and the Curry Coastal Pilot.
Local School Yearbooks
The library holds original and digital copies of yearbooks issued by high schools and elementary schools in Curry County.
Non-fiction Book Collection
Our non-circulating non-fiction collection includes most known print items specific to the history, genealogy, and natural history of the region currently known as Curry County. The collection also includes contextual regional materials relating to the history, genealogy, and natural history of the broader Northern California and Oregon region.
Fiction and Literature Book Collections
Our non-circulating fiction collection includes most known books by authors from Curry County and books set in Curry County.
History of Curry Public Library
The library holds materials relating to the history of the library including scrapbooks, library board minutes, financial records, photographs, and architectural plans.
