Homeschooling families are invited to take advantage of the many learning materials and opportunities that are available at Curry Public Library. In addition to the events and resources listed for children ages Pre-K through teen, we offer the following resources for assistance in your homeschool journey.
Homeschool Resources at the Library
Homeschool parents and co-ops are encouraged to take advantage of library materials to help with teaching. These include:
- Digital materials
- Library of Things (such as microscopes and other equipment)
All of these materials can be discovered in the Coastline catalog. Our staff are also happy to help you find what you need.
For homeschoolers that need space and services to help with school projects and school planning, the library offers the following:
- Tech lab
- Tablets/computers available for use in-house
- Family resource kiosk
- Teen Room
- Copier, fax, and printing
- Meeting room rentals
Attending library programs and working with our staff to bring programs to the library that fit your homeschool needs are great ways to make your work easier and to meet other children and families in the community. The library website includes basic information about some of our ongoing programs that may be of interest including: weekly storytime, summer reading, custom outreach programs, and Oregon Battle of the Books.
