This is used in your site on the eBooks page for eBook vendors. It was designed to be used as a content box for an online resource, that may have a logo or inviting image, a link out to the resource like “access now” , and some text about the resource. I can also imagine it being used for locations, or anything else that would have the three elements: image, link in the form of a button, and written information.
