Introduction to Digital Photography is intended for novice camera users wanting to learn standard digital camera settings such as aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. This program is a lecture covering core photography concepts, followed by a field trip one week later to put the concepts into practice. The program is free, but space is limited; please reserve a space below.
LECTURE: Sunday, August 6th from 1pm to 3pm
Introduction to the Exposure Triangle (Aperture, Shutter Speed, and ISO) and other core photography concepts. Bring your camera, and manual. Prior to the class, please review the PDFs titled COMMON TERMS and COMMON MODES found on the tech lab page by clicking here.
FIELD TRIP: Sunday, August 13th from 1pm to 3pm
Meet at a pre-determined location (chosen during the June 18 lecture) to take some photos using the concepts learned in the lecture. Bring your camera.
