Description
On Saturday, May 16 at 1pm-3pm, join local Art Therapist and Counselor Jana Rivers-Norton for an expressive arts workshop creating thematic collage cards to keep and trade.
Ages 16 and up are welcome. Space is limited. Please reserve a space below.
Description: Collage is a visual arts technique that puts together a two-dimensional image from bits and pieces of found and cut objects, along with words, in a pleasing and often whimsical array of colors, shapes and designs. Add a theme for naming your creation, then have an imaginal dialogue to mix meaning, intrigue and fun to share!
Cut-out images and supplies will be available along with snacks and tea. Feel free to bring your own photos, magazines, scraps of colored paper, and poetry or prose to decorate. No artistic skill is necessary, just a playful and contagious curiosity.
