Creating 2D Floor Plans for Interior Design with Sketchup

Format: in-person (contingent upon local COVID metrics), masks are required
Ages: adult and high school
Description: Learn how to use Sketchup to create 2D floor plans for your next remodeling or redecorating project. We will cover the 7 steps for creating a successful 2D floor plan to help you plan including: (1) where to start, (2) how to Draw your floor, (3) how to Draw the exterior walls, (4) how to Draw the interior walls, (5) adding windows and doors, (6) importing furniture and fixtures, and (7) prep for presentation. We will use the library tech lab’s Lenovo flex tablets, although participants are welcome to bring their own tablet pre-installed with Sketchbook with a stylus if they wish.  Space is limited, so please RSVP below to reserve a spot.
