Artist Q & A with Jayne Bruck-Fryer

Join artist Jayne Bruck-Fryer for a Q and A session and art opening on Saturday, September 9 at 2pm in the gallery. Hanging sculptures by the artist will be on display in the second-floor gallery at Curry Public Library in September and October of 2023. The eye-catching sculptures are crafted from found and recycled materials – copper roofing tiles, tin cans, polished glass, even old jumper cables.

A native of the old country, Jayne Bruck-Fryer creates works of art and gifts from recycled, donated materials. Back in 2004, Jayne started creating sculptures from recycled metal, mostly copper, plumbers’ floats, electrical copper wire, and conduit, basically anything that is copper or metal that was recycled or donated.

As a youngster her favorite adage was “Waste not, want not,” and this philosophy still remains today. Jayne and her husband settled in beautiful Gold Beach a decade ago and remain creative every day in the art world, still believing that the word “Recycle,” is the everyday word to save the world.
